Today is not a good day. Setting up, working, and taking down the garage sale was a lot of work and I woke up with a back ache and a few other aching muscles. In spite of that I have gotten quite a few bins, boxes and two shelves moved. I am cleaning the floor and waiting for that to dry before moving anything else, slowly digging out the washer and setting up the storage/workroom. This s the month that the basement will be finished, with everything in the right place.
It'll feel so good to not have boxes in my kitchen, or anywhere else except storage. Two room are done except for hanging some pictures and some other decorating. I don't think my sewing room is every finished, but it is moving along nicely. I am able to fix the work patterns more as I get more projects marked off the list.
I'll be able to have a good wrapping station set up downstairs for mailing anything that sells and all of my stock in one place for a change. I'm actually going to have to buy some more bins soon, which oddly enough feels good. I'd be glad if more things were selling, but if I am doing fairs this fall and winter I will need to have enough stock to make the tables look good.
Closing the business books at the end of these months has been a little too easy. I will need that to change very quickly, I am not too discouraged. I have a comfortable amount of money put away still and I have some great prospects for sewing.
Quilters group is tomorrow. I wish they actually did things together, but at least it gives me the space to cut fabric and get projects ready to sew. Not really a sense of community, but that's okay, I'll feel more a part of the group the more often I go.
I do need to find a book club still. And some people that enjoy board games for a night of fun once in a while. One step at a time. By fall, maybe things will feel better.
